Top-quality professional training in all areas of veterinary medicine
Every two years, one of the largest and most important congresses for veterinary practitioners, takes place in Germany. With more than 300 lectures, seminars, workshops and courses, the congress addresses both practitioners working with domestic animals and pets and those working in the public veterinary service, as well as those in the academic world and industry.
Opened by the debatable topic "Who’s healing is right?" the congress in January 2010 offers a 3 days programme tangent to all areas of veterinary medicine. Subjects include new imaging techniques for small animals, as well as the performance horse, ecological cattle farming, fertility problems in sows and boars and oral medication of farm animals.
Held in the Congress Center Leipzig, the Veterinary Congress provides the opportunity to broaden visitors' horizon by switching from companion animals to farm animals, from Veterinary Public Health to toxicology. Congress language will be mainly German.
The Congress includes the 6th International Conference on Equine Reproductive Medicine (ICERM) and the Symposium of the Academy of Animal Health (AfT).
Adjacent to the congress, a commercial exhibit with over 120 exhibitors, presents innovations and services for veterinary practices and clinics.
Round off your visit to the congress by coming to the IDT Congress Party on Friday 22 January 2010 in the Moritzbastei, in the city centre of Leipzig. Discover Leipzig (click here).
