SOUHRN
Článek se věnuje problematice přítomnosti reziduí veterinárních léčiv v mase a orgánech jatečných zvířat, se zaměřením zvláště na rezidua antimikrobiálních látek. Kromě popisu systému kontrol, odběru a analýzy vzorků včetně legislativních podkladů jsou v článku prezentovány také nejnovější veřejně dostupné výsledky monitoringu reziduí veterinárních léčiv v Česku i na úrovni Evropské unie. Situace v této oblasti je dlouhodobě stabilní a příznivá, s ojedinělými záchyty reziduí antibiotik v nadlimitním množství zejména u skotu a prasat.*

SUMMARY
The article focuses on the issue of the presence of residues of veterinary drugs in meat and organs of slaughter animals, with a particular focus on residues of antimicrobial substances. In addition to a description of the system of controls, sampling and analysis, including legislative documents, the article also presents the latest publicly available results of monitoring of residues of veterinary drugs in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. The situation in this area has been stable and favorablein the long term, with only isolated detections of antibiotic residues in excess of the limit, especially in cattle and pigs.
