SOUHRN

V chovech skotu se s frakturami dlouhých kostí můžeme setkat relativně často. U dospělých zvířat se jedná téměř vždy o fatální komplikaci zejména úrazu. Ale u novorozených telat, kdy se vyskytují fraktury dlouhých kostí zejména v souvislosti s porodem, jsou v literatuře popisovány relevantní metody řešení využitelné i v terénních podmínkách. Následující sdělení popisuje postup při řešení fraktury radiu a ulny u novorozeného telete.

SUMMARY

Fractures of long bones are relatively common in cattle breeding. In adult animals, this is almost always a fatal complication, especially in the case of injury. However, in newborn calves, where long bone fractures occur mainly in connection with birth, relevant methods of treatment that can also be used in the field are described in the literature. The following report describes the procedure for treating a fracture of the radius and ulna in a newborn calf.
