SOUHRN
Cílem práce bylo na základě etologického pozorování zjistit, zda psi prožívají stres a jak se liší míra stresu během pobytu na veterinární klinice. Etologická pozorování byla provedena nejprve v čekárně, poté ve veterinární ordinaci před, během a po vyšetření a vakcinaci. Výsledky ukázaly, že stresové chování bylo pozorováno ve všech fázích, avšak významně (p < 0,05) nejvyšší úroveň stresu (nejvyšší frekvence stresového chování) byla zaznamenána při samotném klinickém vyšetření.
SUMMARY
The aim of the study was to find out, based on ethological observations, whether dogs experience stress and how the level of stress varies during their stay at the veterinary clinic. Ethological observations were conducted first in the waiting room, then in the veterinary office before, during and after the examination and vaccination. The results showed that stress behaviours were observed during all phases, however, the significantly (p < 0,05) highest level of stress (the highest frequency of stress
behaviours) was recorded during the veterinary examination itself.*
