SOUHRN
Článek se věnuje chirurgickému řešení vzácné vrozené deformity končetin u psů – ektrodaktylii. Klinické příznaky popsaného případu zahrnovaly rozštěp ruky mezi II. a IV. metakarpální kostí s kulháním na postiženou končetinu. Diagnóza byla potvrzena rentgenologicky, což pomohlo určit rozsah malformace a navrhnout léčbu. Chirurgická léčba nejčastěji spočívá ve vytvoření rigidní fixace pomocí osteosynthetických implantátů. V této publikaci je představen méně používaný způsob fixace metakarpálních kostí pomocí nylonové sutury a fúzní podoplastiky. V popisovaném případu došlo k výbornému zhojení s nízkou pooperační morbiditou a plnou funkčností končetiny.

SUMMARY
This study deals with the surgical solution for a rare congenital limb deformity in dogs – ectrodactyly. The clinical symptoms of the described case report included a cleft between the II and IV metacarpal bones with lameness in the affected limb. The diagnosis was confirmed by X-ray, which helped to determine the extent of the malformation and propose treatment. Surgical treatment most often consists of creating rigid fixation using osteosynthetic implants. This publication presents a less commonly used method of fixing metacarpal bones using nylon sutures and fusion podoplasty. In the case described, excellent healing was achieved with low postoperative morbidity and full limb function.*
